Asia Plantation Capital has established, strategically, a diverse range of stand-alone businesses, among which are; the use of oud oil from agarwood trees to produce fine perfumes for the international fragrance industry; manufacturing products for the pharmaceutical sector; construction of sustainable homes; plantation and agricultural specialist management, and tree nurseries for local communities to access.
Although operating privately since 2002, Plantation Capital was officially established in 2008 in the UK, before incorporation in Sri Lanka in 2009 as Asia Plantation Capital, followed by Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
The APC group now has a corporate presence, plantations and agricultural projects on four continents, with operational projects at various stages from start-up to fully operational plantations and farms. The group has operational projects at various stages in Cambodia, China, India, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, U.S. and Vietnam.
